Other Communities
Rural women from impoverished communities weave baskets from Lutindzi, an indigenous grass that grows in abundance in the mountains, and that was customarily used for roofing the traditional Swazi beehive huts. These natural baskets become delightful presentations for our gift packs.
The lovely animal wooden spoons including in our gift packs are carved by a local group of disabled adults. Men and women learn the carving skills while attending a rehabilitation centre and then work from home while earning an income.
